A Night For Chaim - Gala Event

Creative direction and production for the gala fundraising event in honor of Hillel at UCLA's Executive Director, Rabbi Chaim Seidler-Feller, on the occasion of his retirement after 40 years. The event was hosted by actress and alum Mayim Bialik and featured "all things Chaim" including hundreds of books from his library, a photo backdrop of one wall of his office, a gypsy jazz trio, a Klezmer trio, his former cantors singing in tribute, Israeli dancers including several former students, speakers from throughout his career, the creation of an Institute in his honor, and three special videos including a surprise message from Barbra Streisand. The event budget was $150,000, and the event raised over $600,000, including $50,000 raised that night via mobile giving platform which was featured throughout the evening.
